Decembeard is an annual campaign run by Bowel Cancer UK. It’s back again for 2020 and it needs your support more than ever. So, it’s time to say goodbye to your razor and smooth shaves every morning and say hello to your December beard!

The Coronavirus pandemic has had a devastating effect on many people’s lives this year. Aside from the effects of the virus itself, it causes knock-on effects for people with other conditions. Thousands are experiencing delays in diagnosis and treatment as the NHS and social care services are under extreme pressure.

Bowel cancer is the fourth most common cancer in the UK and the second biggest cancer killer. Over 42,000 people are diagnosed with bowel cancer every year. But it’s not all bad news. Bowel cancer is treatable and curable, especially if diagnosed early.

Because of loss of incomes, charities are also facing extras pressures. By taking part in this year’s campaign, you can help save lives and improve quality of life for those living with bowel cancer and their families.

Fancy taking part? It’s easy. Ditch the razor and let you beard grow. Already got a beard? No problem. Get involved by dying, shaving or decorating your existing facial fuzz.
